The Mississippi Mills Community Fund is more than a charitable fund—it’s a promise to the future.

It’s our way of saying: we care about this place and the people who call it home. Together, we’re building a legacy of generosity, resilience, and opportunity that will ripple through generations.

Every gift is a seed. Every story is a spark. This is how we shape the future—one act of community at a time.

Our Vision

A Mississippi Mills where opportunity is shared, voices are heard, and community spirit is alive in every corner.

Mission

Trust. Collaboration. Sustainability. Local Leadership, Long-Term Thinking.

About the Fund

The Mississippi Mills Community Fund is a permanent, endowed fund that supports community needs—now and for generations to come.

Every donation is pooled and invested, with the income from those investments granted to local organizations and initiatives in Mississippi Mills.

We are proud to be housed under the Ottawa Community Foundation (OCF). This partnership provides us with expert fund management, governance, and grant administration, while allowing our fund to remain locally driven and community focused.

What Makes It Special?

  • It’s by us, for us—driven by the hopes and heart of Mississippi Mills
  • It’s built to last—your gift grows and gives again, year after year
  • It’s fuel for future changemakers—supporting the arts, environment, youth, seniors, and more
